Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was contemptuous
when asked about the public apology that singer Arijit Singh had given him for
a song from his upcoming movie 'Sultan'.
When asked about Arijit's apology, the star said twice
before the question was complete: "Who is it?"
"In every movie there are a lot of singers who sing and
director and producer who make the choice of who is going to be the best voice
for the film. A voice was mine but that was also rejected, so why be so upset
And so hurt. This is life, "Salman said.
Apparently, referring to Arijit as "intelligent,"
Salman said: "There must be a day when a person (actor) should say not to
sing or sing. The smart ones are not brilliant ... they do not ... you get to
know The intentions. "
Arijit recently presented an apology to the
"Dabangg" star on Facebook and begged him to retain a version of a
song sung by him on "Sultan." He had deleted the post later.
According to reports, the song 'Jag Ghoomeya' was initially
recorded by the singer 'Tum Hi Ho' but was recorded again in the voice of Rahat
Fateh Ali Khan, while Salman has also sung another version of it
