The 2016 Kolkata International Film Festival began with an
explosion amid the presence of prominent characters from the Bollywood
fraternity.

The best part of the festival was that it turned out to be a
meeting of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, especially when we saw the two generations
of the film - Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh - Jaya Bachchan joining.

The opening ceremony of the festival saw Bollywood stars
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Parineeti Chopra, along with the
Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, lit the traditional lamp as a
mark of a thriving start.
Dressed in a black suit, SRK was really looking dapper as
always, while Kajol wore a fabulous Manish Malhotra creation.Bollywood actor
Sanjay Dutt and Parineeti Chopra also attended the event
