As the villagers of Barsana, Mathura, where the shooting is underway,
have objected to a marriage sequence in the film.

Raj Bhatt, spokeswoman for Braj Acharya Peeth said they also have objections to
the fact that a film with the word "toilet" in its title is being
filmed in his district, which has a religious history. He said the film
represents a marriage between a boy and a girl from the villages of Nandgaon
and Barsana, which is against tradition since marriages between these villages
